biscottes

Food wise, we haven't really experimented much. In fact, we really haven't been doing too much eating - a combination of jet lag and odd hours and no place to store food has made it difficult to eat regularly. However, now that we are moved into our dorm, Erin and I have done some shopping at a local grocery store and fruit market. We found these mini toasts for .60 euro, about $0.85 American money. They looked adorable so we went for it, and they are our new favorite thing. We're pretty sure you could put anything on them, but so far we've tried jam with delicious results.

I am living in a dorm for international students, called Residencia Onix. It is in the L'Eixample district, about 15 minutes from Universitat Pompeu Fabra, where I will be taking classes. I share a double with Erin, another Cornell student, and we have our own, albeit small, bathroom and kitchen, all to ourselves!!

All Packed Up...

I'm leaving in 20 minutes... AHHHHH!!

This past week has been very strange, I was in between Ithaca and school and this new adventure in Barcelona. I am absolutely ready to start my journey, but nervous at the same time about huge changes and the people I will miss.
Love you all! The next time I talk to you I will be in BARCELONA!!
